The Emperor Wears No Clothes can also be considered a cliche, yet in the case of Lord Ears, it’s 100% accurate.
And Bores’s cartoon avatar is a palestinian homicide bomber.

there are far more ‘hack’ cartoonists on the left, Matt.

No, it is the RWNJ editorial ’toonists that are hacks.
The center and the few leftist ’toonists tell the truth.

I wonder if Ramirez ever draws cartoons attacking Bors. No? Well, maybe if Mike realized that the tickle on the back of his neck was Matt’s latest jab, he’d know about the feud he’s in.

So the Hack Editorial cartoonists are still thinking Obama crashed the economy?
Considering the fact that the Dow Jones was at about 8500 when Obama was Inaugurated, and it now stands at about 13,500, that’s a heck of a Crash!
Housing starts are up, home prices are climbing, hiring is picking up…yup, he sure “Crashed” it alright!

Everybody has to make a living, and if you are not capable to come up with really good ideas you are consigned to this kind of work. Have brush, will hurt…

If he was really a hack journalist, wouldn’t that car be a taxi?

@JmcaRice
This I do not believe..
What I do accept is that there are hacks on both sides of the aisle.
Also, IMO, that political cartoon falls flat on its face….I do not fully absorb any message.

@Mr. King
“When you call the President of the United States a derogatory slur like that, it only characterizes you as the ignoramus you are.”
And aren’t you a stellar example of politeness, propriety and respect with your recent posts demeaning the mentally and physically handicapped, women, and calling a married with children congressmen a pedophile?
Ignorance implies lacking in knowledge. So I guess you would be considered a fool because you are “lacking in sense, judgment, or discretion.” (http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/foolish).

GMAFB. Like you’ve ever said anything to the thousands of posters who call Bush or Reagan derogatory slurs.
Hypocrite.

What i find interesting is that the worst “slur” used against George W Bush was either “W”, or “Shrub”(the translated name of his oil company, coined by Molly Ivins.)
Toonists, as well as right-wing commentators have considered twisted and vulgar twists on Obama’s name, and that endless “Kenyan” (note its real intent) as a mere “jumping off point” in the effort to degrade and slur the man, AND the office.
Anyone claiming “W” was unfairly attacked, or vulgarly addressed, is an idiot. That George W Bush will be regarded by history as the worst President in the history of the United States isn’t much a matter of question. That he deserved some, if not most, of the derision sent his way, isn’t much of a question either.

“Shrub” was also defined as: “An insignificant little bush that will never amount to much of anything.”

JmcaRice: Except that most of them have Pulitzers, while the few Reichwingers with the prize are mostly dead and can’t change their minds.

@dtroutma
Did you make a point?
Not sure, as you first said no one called Bush derisive names then went on to say people called Obama derisive names then went on to call supporters of Bush derisive names then went on to insult Bush then went on to say Bush deserved derision, while claiming to be prescient. Pretty much an entire post of insults and hate.
BTW, a nickname can be friendly or hateful. If you think “Shrub” was meant as a term of endearment, you have totally underestimated Ivans. No one on the Left uses it in a kind fashion. It is meant to be a slur. Ivins knew it.
