Could happen, Mercury will be in reverse on election day as it was on the day of the 2000 and the 1848 election. Communication gets confused, systems break down.

Only because he had 500,000 more popular votes than Bush. The argument Gore lost was over electoral votes which the corrupt republican state of Florida and the corrupt republican stacked supreme court stole from him.
The country is in its current state because a loser like GW Bush was put into office against the will of the American people.

… the most controversial elections in American history, Gore won the nationwide popular vote over George W. Bush by more than 500,000 votes but lost …

I hadn’t thought of that… Mercury in RETRO on Election Day?! Eeeeeeeep….
I’ll vote early. That way I know my vote won’t get screwed up, and I’ll wait ‘til the day afterwards to see how the election went.

For those of you who don’t know Astrology, Mercury is the planet in charge of any form of communication. When it goes Retro (meaning that it looks like it’s going backwards ), everything to do with communication goes haywire and Murphy’s Law is in Effect. Not a good time to be joking around, as even comedy isn’t immune to this phenomenon.

I voted for Gore, and I thank God he lost.

There. Feeling any better? No? Didn’t think so.
