More Town halls, fewer tv shows…for ALL the candidates.

Whatever he does, he will be criticized, so he might as well do something he likes. Although I agree with C Downs above that town-hall meetings are more informative to the public. But they are also very time-consuming (remember: “candidate Obama” travels by bus…). Maybe someone can do the reverse: bus in a few hundred average people from Kentucky or Nevada to some auditorium in Washington DC?

@MortyForTyrant
Wrong. Candidate Obama flys AF1 to an airport near his route and then gets on the bus that was manufactured in Canada.
Whatever.
No, the candidates need to go to the people not the other way. By going to their home he gives the opportunity for vast crowds to be at the meeting.
And what is this average stuff? Didn’t you know Americans are all exceptional? LOL

Obama set a new record for American Presidents since the UN was founded in 1945.
What other President spoke to the annual general assembly and left without scheduling meetings with important foreign leaders who traveled to the USA for that meeting…???
It also reveals what Obama considers the most important, his duty as “host” to the UN and diplomats, or his personal “need” to campaign? (IMO he is a non-stop campaigner, and has proved he is not a “Governing” president….and definitely not a “hard-working” president, or “the blame stops here” president)

Not when it comes to building buses.

How dare that Obama actually run for re-election?
.
Why, there’s work to be done!
,
And those foreign leaders all know that they come before the politics!

Some insight into Obama’s Work(?) schedule. Note the amount for time for briefings. Note the time of day he starts work…………………….http://www.whitehouse.gov/schedule/president/2012-09-21

THAT must be true or why would the American president who was claiming he supported American business and not buy the buss at an American manufacturer. And he actually bought two for 2.2 million bucks. Works for me if that is where the best bus can be had.
“you people” do a lot of things well. LOL

@Respectful Troll
Remember what happened with the town halls before: When Democrats held town halls, Tea party activists were bussed in with instructions of how to disrupt them. Still, Democrats took the heat and held the meetings.
-
When Republicans began to get any protests, they cancelled the town halls, NEVER to have them again.
-
Nowadays, Eric Cantor will not appear in public, other than in front of an invitation only crowd.
-
Don’t know if he’s a ChickenHawk, like Willard, but he displays the same ‘courage’.

Thanks for the link. Please also note the time
of day when he ENDS work (in some cases
11-12 PM). Maybe it’s a time-zone thing?
Can’t be the President of the whole U.S. if
half of it is still fast asleep when you have your
cornflakes…
