Rich in character and intriguing "what'll happen next?!" stories, LUANN is a compelling saga of life's most volatile stage. Ah, consumerism at its finest.

Engaging in the moment in what you value or utilizing the abstract factors for happiness with or w/o large amounts of money is what gets you happiness, The tested happiest are engaged in the moment and not rich or living in the poorest environments with the group factors for happiness and the means for a strong marriage in pretty much all the categories that count. Unfortunately they got there for factors that are externally produced but almost anyone can manufacture alternatives, it just takes longer because you have to actively think and work on it consciously. Good message while we are waiting for Revelations.

@Sluggo:
Human experience is not as important as your ego likes to believe. What you see and remember is not even close to reality. A couch has been described as a bizillion uneven and unique particles floating all over the place and constantly changing as the universe changes but also parts of particles from the start of earth. Do you see any of this Slug? I didn’t think so . ..

Oh well…No cartoonist bats a 1000. This one was a ground ball to short. As this is a Sunday clip – he’s probably not going anywhere with it.

I see plenty of items that could easily from the near present. But some people template their fixations upon the strip. Like bras. The kid found one and was inquisitive. Nothing salacious about it or odd. It was in fact typical.

I am surprised that none of the stuff shown has been broken. My room needs a lot of stuff removed but even I don’t have things laying on the floor.

Economics. House Rules.
The “stuff” of which dreams are made.
Luann has helped enough.

No, it doesn’t buy happiness, but it DOES buy CHOCOLATE! I think that’s practically the same thing.

Evidently, money does not buy happiness. The guy with 10 million didn’t seem any happier than the guy with 9 million……

simple economic theory. we work to buy stuff from people, they buy more stuff from other people who employ us. and, repeat. capitalism. stuff becomes more stuff. and, that leads us to an episode of hoarders.and. money buys happiness, ask the romneys.

I see Luann’s panties on the floor. I know many of us here are now ready to die.

Money buys power and freedom. Those dont necessarily bring happiness, but they sure help.
