classic, managers talking to you about a “small waste of time” usually becomes a “great waste of time”

Classic indeed! And clever insight by Dad.

Wow, Ann Eiffel’s chat with Brad went on for longer than some tv shows without commercials that is and judging by Brad’s less than defensive stance regarding the issue of Toni stopping to visit (which he should have challenged seeing as Frank is) she must have done most, if not all, of the talking. I can’t help picturing this meeting involving Ann either talking in slow motion or that she started drawing diagrams and charts on the horrors of time wasting.

    She’s definitely executive material.

Putting it out there: Brad reports Ann; she’s fired for inappropriate behaviour. They look at his curriculum vitae and decide he’s ideal management material and he gets her job…

As for Brad not standing up to Ann; he may be hesitant after losing his dream job recently. We know he didn’t do anything wrong but it must have still been a blow. He could be feeling any job better than no job. hugs

Sounds normal. Of course the real reason is that she hired Brad because she found him “hot” and then reeeeeaaaallly didn’t like him having a girlfriend who looked better than she does. Those first couple of WW comics are scary stuff. I’m glad Greg does these though. It’s kind of like the (wink-wink) that the university I went to had for female teachers who were predators on their students. They’d fire the men on those rare occasions that men would prey upon women students, but when some of the teachers who taught “women-studies” were hypocritical, the admin was hypocritical, too.

Speaking about wieners, anyone know if you can get Sahlen’s hot dogs outside the USA?

Wisely, Brad is gathering together an army of defenders. Together they will overthrow Miss Awful’s dictatorship of tyranny and oppression!

I think this scenario has to have more than just Brad’s word against hers. If he’s going to try to get her in trouble he’d need someone else to vouch for him and show that Ann wasn’t out-of-line, but no one else heard what went on. Plus Ann’s a schemer, she could try to twist the story to make her look justified.

It’s not too easy to do now with the TSA and all.

I actually see this as a step in Brad’s becoming a more self-reliant person. He’s going to have a break through and become secure and forceful.

This is a useful father-son talk; Frank’s years of life-experience will help Brad clarify his thinking and develop some resolve. Time is on our side (as someone once said).

Remember – Greg went pretty much as far as he could in portraying Eiffel as an equal-opportunity predator who had designs on Bernice.
    .
Bernice and Zane could doubtless contribute Interesting testimony.

Well, I meant he’d need someone who was there when Ann told him Toni wasn’t allowed into WeeineWorld. Besides, I’m not really sure that her harassment’s even on her record since she was transferred rather than fired for what she did. And even though Bernice and Zane could vouch for her being a bad person they weren’t there when Ann said those things to Brad. (Though I must admit I’d like it if they tried since Zane is a really great character who should definitely return).
