    Luann, I predict that 28 years from now you get the guy and Tiffany does not.

    Tiffany will get her heart broken when she’s “too fat” for the fashion industry, too “smart” for Hollywood, and end up making her name in movies that make parents cringe.

    ugly girls don’t make it in those crowds
    but time tends to even things out

    The day arrives when Luann is prettier than Tiffany. Tiffany is not happy with that.

    @Nabuquduriuzhur

    Tell the “too smart” to those who have Ph D’s or Master’s degrees who act, write scripts and even direct.

    re: night gaunt

    where can I find one? Look at what hollywood produces today.

    Most of the people in theatre, TV, and other programs that emphasized acting at the colleges I went to were doing it because they could party most of the time and still get a degree. From what I’ve observed, a PhD in arts has about the same amount of work required to get it as a 1st year engineering student has done, or a second year science student has done. There’s a reason that there are so many people with such degrees. A minimum of effort, and a lot of partying. With all that goes with partying. Most come out of college with a reduced IQ because of the drugs. In some it’s really noticeable.

    Closest thing I know of to a well-educated theater major was a lady who graduated about 3 years ago who, after finding out what theater was like, even in a supposed old line denomination college, changed majors. Wasn’t into the drunk fests, pot parties, orgies, and other things that go on in such programs. I didn’t tell her that the stuff she ran into was actually tame compared to what happened in the colleges about ten years before that.
