    And probably put your pants on, one leg at a time, just like she does, too!….

    You’re all right and the thought of her playing Nancy Reagan is utterly disgusting!

    Thank you for your comments… I really expected to get slammed for mine because young people simply cannot understand how it felt to be there fighting and she doing what she did. And I agree, I don’t know how she got away with it. In WW2, ppl were shot for less.

    I disagree with all your Jane Fonda comments. We were in a war didn’t have any business being in, and she was saying so. Remember how Nixon ended that war? He just said, OK, we win, and we abandoned the South Vietnamese to the enemy. Ever see the picture of the helicopters taking off from the embassy?

    @chayasnana

    The USA should never have gotten involved. Made it easier for N. Viet Nam to win.

    What abandon? The South Vietnamese held off the North for years after we left.

    Just because we had no business there doesn’t give her the right to aid the enemy and get the prisoners of war beat for what she did. She is a traitor, pure and simple.

    Yeah, Greg Evans, Luann sure was “fat” when you drew her like that. Let’s hypothesize that Fonda, at the height of physical fitness, weighed 115 pounds. In order to be “fat”, 13 year old Luann had to be exactly how tall?
    -
    I. Can’t. Even.

    So, I did some googling (I’m the best at wasting time).
    -
    Average weight for 13 year old girls 95-105 pounds. So if we use my hypothesis (see above): “fat” Luann weighs 115 pounds and is anywhere from 10 to 20 pounds overweight.

    What a lardazz! I’m surprised the bed don’t break! Bravo, Greg Evans of the 1980s! Thanks for having the courage to mess with Luann’s self image like that! If you wanted to draw an overweight teenager, you could’ve done better. And it looks like Bern is just as “fat” as Luann!

    I think he did a great job of showing the insecurities of the average teenage girl. He overplays them a bit to show that Luann is the same as most everyone else and that there really is nothing to be ashamed of. As adults, most of us realize that she is fine – but to a teenager, this is all too real.
