And, of course, you being such a highly respected economist, you would know all about such economic situations!!

    " ….highly respected economist,"

If economists really knew what they were doing, they would all be wealthy beyond reason.

The head of the International Monetary Fund said a few times over the last few months that if the US Congress had not created so many fiscal threats over the last three years, the world economy, AND the US economy, would be at LEAST 4% better than it is right now. This view has been echoed by US executives and economists across the nation.
Like a dead oarfish, Congress is large and stinks.

The government borrows $.40 of every $1 that it spends. If you loonies don’t think that’s bankrupt, then there is no hope for you.

You sound so foolish. You actually believe the crap you liberals put out. Conservatives have family’s too. Don’t believe all the lies spewed out by El Presidente.

Yuh, the GOP government shut down and default fiasco have been sooo productive. Sure brain dead Cruz and Lee have been as good to the American economy as anthrax tainted baby formula!

You are saying the US spends 4000% more than it takes in.
I won’t use the “s” word but if the comment stays everyone including R’s will be thinking it about you.
Although probably the TP,s will not.

I wonder what happened to the Republicans’ “laser-like focus” on jobs. Could they not squeeze a bill or two in-between their forty symbolic repeals of Obamacare? Were they too mesmerized by Ted Cruz’s impassioned reading of “Green Eggs and Ham” to work on it?
Or are they entirely happy to see the rest of us stuck in low-paying, part-time jobs without benefits (a trend which started well before Obamacare was even a “thing”) so long as it pads the pockets of their wealthy contributors?

Dude, exactly what is it that Cruz said about the ACA that has not been proven true?

Do you guys really want to live under a government that has absolute power over you?

“Let’s think about this for a minute.” You should follow your own advice and stick to the subject, not flail off into absurdity.
