That would be the majority of voters these days.

    More utter nonsense.

My tax withholding is exactly the same as last year.

Social Security contribution went up, a little bit. That would only really be a tax if the r/w channel the funds to the rich rich and I never collect Social Security AS PROMISED.

I support fixing Social Security. If not, give me a full refund.

I usually don’t respond to your idiocy, but I have been paying for my own health insurance for 4 years after being laid off, and it is $330 a month which would be far less than $ 6000 a year.

Funny. From the way you complain about it, I thought that YOU were the Robber Baron that would need to fund your wage-slaves health care out of the profits that you so rightfully deserve by sitting back and watching them work.

Based on my most recent paycheck. a $36 increase in Social Security (offset by a $9 decrease in state income tax) would be $700 dollars a year less than last year, gross. Far from $3k.

In a conversation, a friend of mine’s wife who is an accountant stated that their taxes went up over $7000.

    @Rockngolfer

Sadly the idiocy belongs to those who have not read the Obamacare bill. You will be lucky if you only pay another $6000 a year.

Read the Obamacare bill and you will find out.

The only inconsistency is that the EBT /obamaphone subjects of TAKER NATION don’t care about tax hikes…"

No more so than you care that the government subsidized phone service you refer to as the “obamaphone” was actually created by the Reagan Administration. Keep repeating your lies. There may yet be someone stupid enough to believe them.

To the Barack Obama true believers, does all money belong to the government?

What utter nonsense. Every rate ever initiated is a still a tax hike when compared to 0 before 1913. (Some would say 1802!)

Well, let’s see. Yep, the payroll tax resumed it’s rightful place at 6.2% for the wage earners contribution. Now, as one that have 4 kids and lived from paycheck to paycheck for many years, the extra 30 to 40 bucks a pay period was nice. But what was the cost for my future? This particular tax is – after all – an investment in YOUR future welfare.

What you won’t see for a while is the consequences of the small business having less to work with. If they have 55 employees now, you can see a reason to lower that threshold to 49 or even just 40. Or maybe they need 100 people but the work day goes from 8 hrs to 4 per employee. Part time and the benefits go away costs go down. But then production goes down as well so there are less goods for the consumer and less profit for the company and less tax for the government so government revenue goes down not up. Meanwhile since less people are making less money, more government assistance is needed and so while revenue dropped expenses go up for the government. What to do? why borrow more, run that deficit and add to the debt.

Yeah, I know. I’m stupid and don’t know how the big picture and government economics work. So what is the answer. Is it this democrat idea?

Oh yeah, trillion dollar coins. Weimar Republic much?

But we really hate the “rich”. Let’s just kill them all and take their money.

There is no National Sales Tax. You are basing your post on the tax on medical devices and the e-mail circulating which shows the tax applied to a holster and items sold at Cabela’s. That was a programmong error on Cabela’s cash registers and none of the items are subject to the tax. Anyone who paid this error may apply to Cabela’s for a full refund.

The increase in taxes for those making over $400,000/year is only on the amount over $400,000 that they make. The rates they pay on amounts up to that amount stay the same. If you are makiing over that amount, just stop collecting your pay to avoid that 4.6 cents per dollar. Just have those checks made out to me. I’ll gladly pay your tax.
