That Santa has been passing out IOU’s that can never be cashed. Btw, why did Santa start demanding a bigger cut of smaller and smaller paychecks? Sounds more like Scrooge.

It certainly wasn’t Boehner, Romney or Cantor on the cover of Time magazine as the most interesting man of the year.

Victoria Soto. 27 year old teacher who hid her students in cabinets and closets, then waited or the killer to enter her classroom. She didn’t hide with the kids, or leave them hidden to save herself, she stood her ground. She told the lunatic the kids were in the gym, he gunned her down.
She is a true American hero. Her one selfless act of courage has impacted more lives than anything Obama has done or ever will do.
The left will ignore her sacrifice, they fear real courage. Instead they will focus on their political agenda and use this act of evil as an opportunity to further that agenda. The difference between this incredibly brave, beautiful young woman and the political hack that is our President is enormous.

Tyrone Woods, NavySeal, died fighting to save Americans in Benghazi, Libya while this Administration did nothing.
Another American Hero that will be forgotten, while Time magazine keeps propping up this President.
The point is Time is a political rag not worthy of lining a cat box.
It’s editors are nothing more than shills for the democrat
    party.

Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani girl who spoke out for education rights for females and was shot by the Taliban for taking a stand. I voted for her in the online poll and had hoped she would be selected by the editors of Time, but I’m not surprised they picked their savoir, Pres. Obama.

People might actually pay attention to your complaints of “vicious bile” if you didn’t refer to people as “nut jobs” or “reDUMBlicans” If you think you’re being “funny” or “cute” you’re not. You are just telling everyone except those on the far left who agree with you to ignore what you write.

    Time Magazine criteria:
    .
“for better or for worse, …has done the most to influence the events of the year.”
    .
Not necessarily the most positive influence, and the time frame being the whole year.
    .
The others mentioned above are largely emotional choices.

The Obama = Santa Claus thing is getting tiring. Every politician is Santa Claus. I remember one presidential candidate recently who was going to give a 20% across-the-board tax cut that he couldn’t tell us how he could pay for it.

    What WAS that guy’s name?

Sarah Palin said that Time set a low bar for Person of the Year, after all , they had chosen her for PotY once. I liked Ms. Palin’s Alaska reality show. She is a good ambassador for her state, and thought her self deprecating humor worthy of the moment.
I don’t like the cartoon, and I agree Malala would have been a better choice for PotY as she represented the Arab Spring, the hopes of women, and so much more.
The cartoon is continuing the conservative opinion that Mr. Obama is deliberately trying to destroy the nation in which his own daughters will be adults in order to further some final agenda where, apparently, Europe manages our finances, and the UN sets the standards for our guns, schools, and use of military. I don’t see that.
I do see a conservative agenda where corporations are given power over people and nations in order to create a class of “super wealthy” who pick who will serve in office and what environmental regulations will or, in most cases, will not, be enforced. Where there will be no death panels, but if you can’t afford healthcare, you die. I see an end game where conservatives control the police and military and powerful people living well away from the squalor that will be the remnants of the poor and middle class. Where the air is toxic, the oceans are rising, and the food- if not solyent green, is nearly as toxic as the air and water while the rich and the pet legislators rig elections and put people in factory prisons when they protest.
Mussolini once said that fascism would be better referred to as corporatism. And now, despite warnings from George Washington and other founders, corporations are now “people”, and Unions of people, are ‘bad’.
Time once had, as its Person of the Year, “YOU”. “You” are a great people bogged down by the pettiness thrown at you by media and unworthy elected officials. “YOU” are better than that and “YOU”, along with “US”, can create a better USA.
    Respectfully,
    C.

Your post is completely full of BS, no other way to put it.

“Casting aspersions,” check, usually a lefty move, calling someone else on, hypocrite
’don’t uniformly and near totally deny their negative" blah blah blah, again a complete fabrication on your part, remember Anthony Weiner much?
Blah blah blah “complete lack of ethics, morals and integrity.” Really, project much?
While you try to qualify your diatribe a little, you miss by a wide margin. Both parties are a group of sycophants, you trying to make the one you support sound any better then the other just makes you sound stupid.
Oh, and using the cutesy little names just makes you sound childish, but then again you lean tot he left, so it makes sense.

I don’t mean to belittle their loss, but four people died in Benghazi. Why doesn’t the right wing demand hearings for the thousands that died in Bush’s war in Iraq? Why not an inquiry about the weapons of mass destruction lies? Their hero, Reagon, lost a lot of Marines in Lebanon and they didn’t call for an inquiry.
