All beautiful evenings are due to community organizing. All bad evenings can be blamed on Republicans.

Is this cartoon about anything in particular? Or is there some new meme about Obama taking credit for something, like, I don’t know, winning an election?

Yeah John… I don’t get it. Is this just to make Walter happy?

Not to provoke anyone, but I think what this implies is Obama is inadvertently taking credit for the beauty of the night by saying “your welcome.” The cartoonist implies Obama interprets the other mans comment on the evening as thanking him for creating such a beautiful night. It’s probably a reference to the supposed messianic adoration of O’s admirers, but that could be a stretch.

Except for your spelling of you’re I agree.
It is time for everyone to just relax and enjoy your holiday tree.

“Except for your spelling of you’re I agree.”
What’s wrong with the spelling? It’s a contraction of “you are welcome.”

You-all cut me no slack. I’m back on par with the young kids in my life, we like the lights and the decorations…

@fritzoid
Here we go. Technically Rockngolfer is correct. Your is a possesive adjective and is not applicable in this context. Link is to the rules…

Actually it’s not. “You’re” is the contraction for “you are”, while “your” is a word of possession. The cartoon is correct; the comment is not, but that is not to say that the comment contents may not be more than a typographical error. Lighten up.

Oh, I see. Rockngolfer was referring to mickey1339’s comment, and not the cartoon. I missed that. Never mind.

Ms. et2008, I am over O winning the election and now have the next 4 years to voice my opinion. He may have saved you from having to get a real job.
