Is this cartoon about anything in particular? Or is there some new meme about Obama taking credit for something, like, I don’t know, winning an election?

Yeah John… I don’t get it. Is this just to make Walter happy?

Not to provoke anyone, but I think what this implies is Obama is inadvertently taking credit for the beauty of the night by saying “your welcome.” The cartoonist implies Obama interprets the other mans comment on the evening as thanking him for creating such a beautiful night. It’s probably a reference to the supposed messianic adoration of O’s admirers, but that could be a stretch.

Oh, I see. Rockngolfer was referring to mickey1339’s comment, and not the cartoon. I missed that. Never mind.

Wrong. All good and beauty is thanks to the source of all goodness and benevolence; government and Democrats.

I just don’t see Obama taking credit for things he hasn’t done, is why I don’t get the cartoon. And he’s certainly not “Tax, tax, tax.” He’s lowered my tax bill substantially, and the GOP wants to put it back up (I work for a living, as an independent contractor, so the payroll tax is a biggie for me).
