The unemployment numbers are the same now as they were four years ago. I think that’s self-explanatory. YMMV.

Aaaand they continued to argue some point about
presidential politics…on their way in to the doorway
of Best Buy or Target …while stepping over and
    around the homeless people …

No one bothers to mention just what efforts the unemployed have made to find new employment. Seeing as the depression made millions of Americans houseless/ homeless, it stands to reason those people had no wherewithall to seek employment. One has a difficult time, as it is ,obtaining employment when dressed appropriately and looking well put together . How would one hope to succeed dressed from clothes pulled from black bags and unironed?

Employers rarely ever give quality employment to fellows such as the guy on the sidewalk as depicted above. He needs lots of help before he can even apply. Where is all the aid coming from if all government services have been cut back due to cutbacks from the previous Repub government?

To place the blame on Obama and Obamacare is rediculous. Don’t you deserve quality healthcare? Don’t you need it for yourself and your children? The Repubs will make you pay much much more for such services if it is halted.

You have to know how to “count”

You only count people who are on unemployment or on welfare. So, in order to lower the numbers, what you do is cut eligibility for unemployment and welfare, and POOF the numbers are lower.

So yeah, someone who has been out of work since 2008 would not be on any unemployment lists and therefore not counted.

Just to point out, I feel both sides are just as guilty of playing with the numbers.
