DIvine justice, I would say!
One would think someone would make a concerted efort to give peace a chance! Guess no one wants it bad enough. There’s just too much money to be made from wars. Even the enemies prefer to fight because of the possibility of major war reperations. Why not just cut a great deal and stop the bloodshed. You would have numerous huge countries to derive money via trade. As they say…..and have said for generations….give peace a chance!
Ellie could have handled this situation much better and more kindly. Asking her daughter to simply recount the incident would have disclosed the actual events and she would have been able to assess them more accurately. Ellie immediately takes the position that the child is completely wrong and hiding something from her. Now, her daughter could be less likely to have faith in Ellie ’s belief in her and accurately decide how much to actually tell her mom.
Sometime after the 150th elastic hits its soft target, we should see the white flag go up and that burlap hoodie come off…and the attack of the ‘noogies’ begins’…….Ohhh, the pain…..
It’s unfortunate that kids always have to learn the hard way that it’s much easier to simply admit the truth than going through the excruciating agony of ‘being found out and chastised’. Ellie could make the lesson much easier to learn for the kids and without risking losing their fragile love…. yep, I raised 6 kids myself, mostly, and yep, there are one or two kids who still resented losing that battle with me.
I like the octopus…..pink and multi-talented as he is….It makes the cartoon more realistic as there are hundreds of them under the waters. It also shows the mice have little fear of other critters out there. The whole cartoon is adorable!
The dog has no idea what bra is …..he just shouldn’t be routing in the bedrooms….
Good reference to Eddie the Eagle! LOve the cartoon! ❤️
Well….guess the next best thing that could happen is…DAD gets to discover Ann’s true character ….over time…..and not immediately as they had hoped. Sometimes, it’s better if the truth comes out later, rather than sooner. Then, Dad will have to believe the truth. HE’ll wake up one day with his home stripped and his bank account stripped. I really admire Les for being on the side of truth and honesty for a change. KUdoes for him and Tiffany!
She’s just a kid…..all kids do this kind of thing once in a blue moon. Bless her heart! GIve her a hug, Ellie!!! She shouldn’t have to worry about having to lie at her age. Mom’s forgive!
