Poor W. Bush, he did all he could to stay out of this race, I don’t think he made more than a couple of very controlled appearances. Obama didn’t defeat Bush, he defeated a flawed republican candidate(Huntsman would have done much better), a rigid republican social agenda, and Karl Rove’s Superpac.
However, it’s not enough just to beat someone, you have to win for people.
A friend is trying to get me to appreciate soccer. One day he was explaining to me how if one team didn’t lose the game by more than one point, they would advance and the team they were playing would win the game, but lose their ability to advance. I will probably never understand soccer or cricket.
It is a good example of what is needed here tho. Mr. Obama won the election largely because people were afraid of the “other guys”. Now he has to actually fight on our behalf. We can remember how the last administration led a legislature that combined to create the 2008 recession. However, today we have to move ’Forward". No more Bush blame. We have plenty of legislators upon whom attention can be focused so voters can decide how much longer they are willing to put up with a non fuctional congress.
Write those you elect and those who represent you. You can make a difference.
    Respectfully,
    C.

    Good one Beuller!
    .
You saw in the exit polling data that 60% of respondants said that the economy was Bush’s fault, I’m sure.
    .
This came out as Fox Business’ Lou Dobbs was still sure that Romney was going to win so he laughed it off.
    .
It was one of those factoids that said to me, “Nate Silver is going to have a VERY good night!”
    .
Obama didn’t beat Romney, he beat Republican Corporatism! He beat the idea that going back to the Neo Con policies of the Bush Admin was a good idea.
    .
Doonesbury’s summation on Election Day is in the same vein as this one.
    .
Good one, glad to see it!

A dithering inability to know what he stands for, except more “defense” and war, on foreigners and the middle class, yes, MItt is “W” recycled.
