It’s going to take a lot of folks a long time to recover, and another storm is coming. FEMA, NGO’s, and volunteers are busting a nut to help, maybe if our “political leaders” on both sides would work together for the good of the country, instead of playing politics, they could also help, instead of hurt?

Seen some good film of marathoners running water, blankets, and other things to people who need them. Made me proud of my neighbors. Seems people with strong legs to carry supplies up many flights of stairs became very very useful.

My New York daughter was one of them. She was disappointed the marathon was called off after all that training, but this year’s marathoners will get an automatic invitation next year.
