Definitely too passive. As with Kerry and Gore, listened too much to handlers? or was something else occupying his mind, like not looking like an over-agressive, rude, position-swapping moron, like his opponent??

Well if the rest of America wants an obnoxious loud mouth know-it-all that spews misinformation and changes positions like a weathervane, then mittens is it. I won’t vote for mittens, his policies will be very bad for Americans.

There’s an old saying… Better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you’re an idiot then to open it and remove all doubt!
    .
    Obama kept his mouth shut…
    .
    Mitt gotz his motor running!
    .
    Ain’t no doubt
    .
21:21:09: LEHRER: Excuse me. Excuse me. Just so everybody understands, we’re way over our first 15 minutes.
    .
    21:21:10: ROMNEY: It’s fun, isn’t it?
    .
    21:37:25:…
    .
ROMNEY: What we do have right now is a setting where I’d like to bring money from overseas back to this country.
    .
22:15:43: ROMNEY:… The role of government: Look behind us. The Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. The role of government is to promote and protect the principles of those documents.
    .
… That statement also says that we are endowed by our creator with the right to pursue happiness as we choose.
    .
…I interpret that as, one, making sure that those people who are less fortunate and can’t care for themselves are cared by — by one another.
    .
… we look for discovery and innovation, all these things desired out of the American heart to provide the pursuit of happiness for our citizens.

    .
That’s all I have time for. now

O is still waiting for his standing ovation. Funny how 4 years makes such a big difference.

Funny how you left out Obama being told he went over his time limit First as he went first.

“O was the idiot for not fighting back.”
    .
You just don’t understand that he didn’t have to fight back then and there. He could appear to stay calm and cool and collected and let Mitt say bolder and bolder lies.
    .
“Funny how you left out Obama being told he went over his time limit First as he went first.”
    .
Or at least it would be funny if I had said anything against anyone going over any time limits. I didn’t mention the limits here, but where I did mention them I said “who cares?” As long as they both got to delineate their respective positions.
    .
“But you said God was a myth.”
    .
The only place I come anywhere near mentioning God in the above post is by citing Mitt’s mangling of the words of the Declaration Of Independence.
    .
Those were Mitt’s words, not mine.
    .
BTW, Jefferson didn’t mention that they were God given rights. He said “…endowed by their Creator…”
which, when taken in the context of the “Divine Right of Kings” is pretty tame endorsement of the anthropomorphic “God” conceptualization.
