One of the representatives from Childrens’ Television Workshop has noted that Sesame Street receives so much funding from licenses and corporate donations that it doesn’t need government money anymore and so they would all rather the show not be brought up in funding debates any more.

Bush had saddam’s head. O happened to be playing golf when Osama got bumped off in the Chicago style.

And Saddam was responsible for 9/11, too? Presidential lies are important. Bush was responsible for the lies that enabled him to invade Iraq. If you wish to give Bush credit for killing Saddam, also give him credit for the thousands of American soldiers and the tens of thousands of Iraqis killed due to his lies. So if Romney lies so much during a debate, will he tell more lies as a president?
Who said Romney lied during the debate? Not some pinko liberals, just his campaign’s chief of staff.

This statement is false. Waterboarding and other forms of torture do provide information, but it is almost uniformly false. John McCain states he was tortured by the North Vietnamese, and gave them names….of the offensive linemen of the Green Bay Packers. People will say anything to make the pain stop, and they feel no obligation to tell the truth to people that make the pain in the first place.
There are ways to gather reliable information, and there is torture.
Look at your statement another way: if Bush had gotten reliable information by waterboarding, why did it take years after he left office to use that information?
Khalid Sheik Mohammed was waterboarded an average of 6 times per day. Do you think this would make him more willing to tell the truth?

You are right, but the show needs the network to be broadcast, and that is the other side of the coin. And besides, PBR is a bit more than CTW…

That’s been pointed out by many others,
too, and had been long before the
debate. PBS funding is a sub atomic
fraction of the budget. So why do
Republicans keep wasting time talking
about this phoney non-issue? And if
the GOP’s actual point is to be gleeful
at the prospect of destroying PBS, again
it’s posturing as shown by the statement from the CTW rep.
So where does the cartoon come in?
It’s about priorities – as evidenced by
what the two debaters talked about.
I wonder – will Romney bring up killing
PBS again when the debate topic
shifts to national security?

What can’t be seen on Obama’s wall are also the heads of our Libyan ambassador and his two bodyguards who he sent to their deaths in Benghazi. The administration KNEW that terrorists were planning an attack on 9/11 (as they have reluctantly admitted), and yet they pathetically tried to lay it all off on an infantile YOUTUBE VIDEO. The Middle East is literally in flames right now, and you can lay a LOT of it on the shoulders of our idiotic president’s foreign policy.
Meanwhile, Big Bird will live for as long as there are muppets and little children LIKE THEM. You collectivists kill me…

@Ima…that is not Saddam’s head on O’S wall. It’s Bin Laden’s and Bin Laden planned 9/11.
disgustedtaxpayer said, 9 months ago
Obama would not have bin Laden’s head on his wall if certain people hadn’t twisted his arm 3 times before he consented to the mission.

this cartoon is unfair to Romney…..he is not out to KILL Big Bird, he is out to trim our borrowing to pay for things the federal government has no constitutional authority for funding, like government radio/tv……the popular programs carried by the PBS system can easily be funded by viewers who appreciate them.

That’s why you got robme. No honor, no integrity, no compassion. Anybody but Obama got you Willard and all his lies. Proud? You shouldn’t be.

If the federal money is just a small fraction of their funding then why do the democratics insist that it not be cut?

@eepatt
That is so much BS.
Bush never said Saddam was in on 9-11.
That just proves you are brain washed by the LSM.
Kerry, Pelosy, Reid , and Barry said Saddam was involved in 9-11.
You remember the P.O.R. economy guys.
