In the near future, look for this to be fed to the recipient class, dependent on the provider class, via government social programs. The recipient class really doesn’t care what it is fed. Just as long as it tastes good and is free.

Ok, well one out of two isn’t bad and it can be argued that that’s more than a “recipient class” (??!?) deserves.

Of course; they all are. It’s completely devoid of fat (ergo also devoid of flavor). I understand Bloomberg is trying to corner not just the market but the process for his New Yorkers. Bon appetit, Big Apple!

From your lips to God’s ear.
    .
Imagine a world where we can produce beef without needing to grow corn!
    .
Think of all the land that is then open to other uses. Think of all the people that are then freed from jobs at fertilizer plants, available to work in food growing factories!
    .
Imagine a world where there is no hunger! Where the cost of feeding the world is so low that money made is money kept. By far the most money we spend is in food and shelter today. What if the cost of feeding a family dropped by 90%?
    .
That would be spectacular. That is the future.
    .
The negativity that oozes here is the pathway to the worst parts of the past (You remember the past right? That was when things were better. Why? Because we were all focused on the positive future!)

Heck, it does not even have to be free. Just affordable and enough of it.
    .
Enough good food to eat for me and my progeny. As long as there is ground to live on having enough food is my idea of paradise.

    @Tigger

    No, Tigger, I couldn’t.
    .
Nor could I have afforded the $12Million dollars it cost IBM to upgrade from 1 megabyte to 2 megabytes when they did that 30 years ago. It took the room of about 30 refrigerators.
    .
But now I can afford to buy 16 Gigabytes of storage for about $20 and it’ll fit on the finger nail of my pinkie finger!
    .
Please stop being so negative, dense and anti everything!

Ah maybe it was closer to 40 years ago. The guy I know who worked on the project is still in his 60s.
