MSNBS actually never talks about Benghazi unless its to say “what a waste of time” or as Hilary says “What difference does it make?”.

I thought the libs get real angry when their prez lies to them?

I’m confused. I thought I heard testimony that the Benghazi report went into a staff meeting about terrorists but came out about spontaneous demonstration.

For fiscal 2013, the GOP-controlled House proposed spending $1.934 billion for the State Department’s Worldwide Security Protection program — well below the $2.15 billion requested by the Obama administration. House Republicans cut the administration’s request for embassy security funding by $128 million in fiscal 2011 and $331 million in fiscal 2012. (Negotiations with the Democrat-controlled Senate restored about $88 million of the administration’s request.) Last year, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton warned that Republicans’ proposed cuts to her department would be “detrimental to America’s national security” — a charge Republicans rejected.
    .
Ryan, Issa and other House Republicans voted for an amendment in 2009 to cut $1.2 billion from State operations, including funds for 300 more diplomatic security positions. Under Ryan’s budget, non-defense discretionary spending, which includes State Department funding, would be slashed nearly 20 percent in 2014, which would translate to more than $400 million in additional cuts to embassy security.

“As I have said many times, I take responsibility. And nobody is more committed to getting this right. I am determined to leave the State Department and our country safer, stronger, and more secure,” Hillary Clinton said. “For me, it’s personal.”

Of course it was, She was the 1st to say it was a terrorist attack…10 days later.. After it was proved we knew it was that night! MKaybe she was talking about the lie buzz words YouTube and spontaneous

It is not a matter of volume. The average Obama voter still thinks Ben Gazi is one of the guys who got killed over there. And the YouTube is what sparked a spontaneous protest.

“For fiscal 2013, the GOP-controlled House proposed”

The Democrats in the Senate and the President had to agree to all of what you posted for what you posted to become law. It’s a little specious for Maddow to put all of the blame on only 1/3 of the people responsible.

Not bad, But here is the lynchpin of the problem. We the public were intentionally lied to. The truth was there but denied from day 1. Talking points were drawn up and anyone who disagreed with those talking points was taken to the wood shed. The media went along with the lie. “Spontaneous and YouTube”? Really? If Obama had an R by his name the footage from Egypt where they where chanting “Obama we are Osama” on 9 11 13, would have been playing 24/7 till the election was held. But it was buried. did not fit the “Bin Laden is dead and Gm is alive” slogan so it must be buried. Terrorism to Obama is a overseas manmade bad thing. so you know can not upset the dumbmasses, let us see how the buzz words do. And the Obama voter still do not know who that ben guy is.

The House is Republican. The Senate is Democratic. The President is Democratic. Only 1/3 of this “triumvirate” cannot make law. It took all three to make those cuts.

RADISH: One more time, regarding the “Republicans cut funding for the State Department” narrative you keep putting forth:

From the U.S. House Of Representatives Oversight and Government Reform Committee Hearing, 10/10/12)
From the U.S. House Of Representatives Oversight and Government Reform Committee Hearing, 10/10/12)

Question: REP. DANA ROHRABACHER (R-CA): “It has been suggested the budget cuts are responsible for lack of security in Benghazi, and I’d like to ask Ms. Lamb, you made this decision personally, was there any budget consideration and lack of budget that led you not to increase the number of people in the security force there?”

Answer: STATE DEPARTMENT DEPUTY ASSISTANT SECRETARY FOR INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS CHARLENE LAMB (who oversees safety and security for U.S. embassies and consulates around the world): “No, sir.”

Further, there was an exchange during testimony that day between House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) and Lamb over whether Ambassador Stevens and Eric Nordstrom (regional security officer at the U.S. Embassy in Tripoli) regarding cables they sent to Lamb that day “requesting” additional security. There was a lot of back and forth whether these “requests” were “requests”, “formal requests” or “recommendations”, even though the word “request” was used in the cables:

ISSA: “Ms. Lamb, yesterday you told us in testimony that you received from Mr. Nordstrom a recommendation, but not a request, for more security and you admitted that, in fact, you had previously said that if (he) submitted a request you would not support it. Is that correct?”

LAMB: “…Under the current conditions, yes.”

ISSA continued: “Yesterday you told us—under penalty of perjury, essentially—that it wasn’t a request, it was a recommendation. Does the word request mean request, and are you prepared to say that they requested these assets above and beyond what they had on September 11th rather than that they simply recommended?”

LAMB: “Sir, we discussed that there was no justification that normally comes with a request. That cable was very detailed…”

ISSA: “Well, we now have that cable and you’re right, it is detailed, and in several more places it expresses concerns. The September 11th cable confirmed the now-deceased ambassador expressed current concerns on that day, repeatedly in the cables that were denied to us, what we see is people telling you an al-Qaeda type organizations were coming together.”

“Now, the problem I have is that the State Department is basically saying, Mr. Nordstrom didn’t do his job, he didn’t make a formal request for justification, the ambassador didn’t do his job, he didn’t make a good enough case and that’s what you’re standing behind here today… (saying)’”

“An embassy, a compound owned by us and serving like a consulate was in fact breached less than 60 days before, approximately 60 days before the murder of the ambassador in that facility. Isn’t that true?”

LAMB: “Sir, we had the correct number of assets in Benghazi at the time of 9/11 for what had been agreed upon.”

You keep posting the same uninformed meme, and I keep posting the same TESTIMONY to prove you wrong. And yet you never reply to it. Why is that?

I expect you to say that the attack was the result of Sequestration any day now…
