For once at least, a fairly reasonable post that does not just attack President Obama, and therefore deserves a reasonable answer (and I would even encourage you to continue in this attitude). I would not worry too much about South Korea, as their very healthy economy and close ties with the superior military of the US has enabled them to generate a military of their own that is one of the best over all militaries in the world. And one that even the nutcase rulers of NK do not really want to tangle with. And this is even without the very real possibility of having to tangle with the military of the US itself.
Even a relative liberal such as President Obama could not just stand by and allow a North Korean invasion of South Korea, anymore than former president Truman could. So please put your relative worries at rest.

And WHO was in power when they got nukes? The lesson they learned from Iraq was that if they have them, the US will talk and sanction, but not attack. But please answer this- WHAT would you have us do? Obama is continuing the policies of his predecessors.
South Korea is right to be concerned about the ‘Sleeping Giant’ (North Korea) I would not be the lease bit surprised to hear NBC News break into regular programming to tell us North Korea has illegally crossed over to South Korea and started slaughtering South Koreans to see what Obama’s reaction will be.
That’s what they said about Obama in August 2001 when he threatened to hijack our own Commercial Airlines and crash them into our Tall Buildings killing thousands of our citizens.
On September 11, 2001, Osama followed through with his threat. Yes, Stupid should have heeded the threat and banned box cutters along with all sharp objects that could be used to stab people. Had he taken this action, September 11, 2001 never would have happened.
Then again, of we go back to the 1980’s and been able to tell RR this: “Please do not give Terrorist Osama more Bullets” We want Russia to kill him so he will not kill us years later.
