First Hillary, now David. They both took one for the team and kept quiet, but now don’t want anything to do with what happened in Benghazi and the coverup after.

    @ConserveGov

David Petraeus had an affair with a woman other than his wife which could indeed compromise his position as head of the CIA. That would then have as much to do with President Obama as his being the general in charge of the Middle Eastern Wars would have had to do with then President Bush!

Of course, to people like yourself President Obama must also control the weather and simply MUST had conjured up super storm Sandy to help him get re elected. It is NOT the more realistic liberals that say that President Obama should be treated like some dictator God, it IS you ultra conservatives.

President Obama won the election, do try to get over it with a good grace!!!

Not gonna slow him down in the least, not even going to register that it got said.
What is real has no bearing on this type of commenting.

Benghazi is not Waco. I know how badly you WANT it to be. But it’s not.

I thought that the biggest news is that Romney is a poopyhead.
    Grover told me.

Benghazi? Just ignore the man behind the curtain and watch the smoke and mirrors of the O administration.

The election is over. You lost. Now let the grown up work on these important issues.

And, by the way, Hillary announced over a year ago that she would not be back.

Isn’t it interesting that the cons are screaming “Benghazigate”, but didn’t really say anything similar after the Marine Barracks Bombing in Beirut, that killed Hundreds? Oh wait…that was under St.Reagan the Worst, a REPUBLICAN president, so that makes it all right!

So because Obama won you get to choose who can say what?

The Obama administration appears to be horribly corrupt but the MSM is too busy protecting him to do their job.
Just the fact that some people here have demonstrated that they don’t know the significance of the Benghazi coverup is a perfect illustration.

Did Reagan lie about it and then try to cover it up?

Great toon : just shows how our great congress works for us.

The tendency of the legislature to focus on scandal and “impossible” issues keeps the nation divided and keeps the people’s business from being resolved. I find this cartoon to be very good. Neither Dems nor Repubs are focusing on this stupidiy called the Fiscal cliff. Just like last year, at a time when retailers are hoping for a flood of customers to buy things for Christmas, the D & R behavior is making people less confident about spending money that might be badly needed if Congress fails to act. And just like last year, there is already discussion about our credit rating taking another hit.
Benghazi is being investigated as is Petraeus. But neither are as immediately urgent as our need to address this looming crisis.
One note, Eric Cantor knew about the Patraeus affair in October.

Just to keep things in perspective.
Now can we talk about how to keep 100% of the people’s taxes from going up?
    Respectfully,
    C.

Ansonia posted (above), in response to you: “So because Obama won you get to choose who can say what?”
Somehow I think just because “you won” it doesn’t restrict Ansonia or anyone else from commenting on policy and supporting or denying Washington policy/actions. I don’t think the election suspended the First Amendment to the Constitution.
