Who says it was love, it was an affair, but I’ve never heard they were “in love”. But I guess as things go these days they could have been in love mulitple times, for about an hour each time.
Never mind affairs. I’d rather see the CIA start snuggling up to the FBI, the DHS, and all the other three-letter bureaus we have running around, rather than them staring at each other suspiciously and hoarding all their information that could help protect us from real threats.

I think you’re over-thinking this. In many cases when people say “make love” they’re simply referring to sex.
