China must know that an attack by NK on the US would unite this country on a level not seen since 9/11. We tend to lash out without much thought when that happens. So IF NK launches a missile and IF it were able to hit the Island of Guam, would China then protect the “little Un”? Does anyone really want the current “super powers” throwing nuclear weapons around?

    Talk about “climate change”……

Does this bug you? I’m not touching you. Does this bug you? Huh? I’m not touching you……

Amazing how big, powerful governments act just like children. How, for example, is terrorism anything more than state-sanctioned bullying?

It seems to me that like a former head of state that I could mention, ( but won’t ) Kim Jong-Un is largely motivated by a desire to show up Daddikins

I believe a drone landing on Kim’s desk with an ultimatum would do a lot. “Open the borders and dismantle your arms or the next one explodes.”

But Sarah Palin thinks the North Koreans are our allies.

Maybe if the south and U.S. would stop conducting military “exercises” well north of the DMZ, essentially provoking the North, every year, things wouldn’t stay so “hot button”?

I’m not trying to be fasicious here. I think N. Koreans would eat anything edible, moving or stationary.

I agree with you about in the recent decades the US tends to wildly ‘lash out’. do you remember when “measured response” was our national policy. If we only had done a measured response to 9/11 instead of falling into bin ladens published trap things would be much better today.

If North Korea attacks the United States, this will begin World War III.

And if China intervenes on North Korea’s behalf, it should be considered an act of war, just like it was in 1950 when Chinese troops poured over the Yalu River.

We should not care if the Chinese view the Korean Peninsula as the “dagger pointed at their throat” and that foreign troops on Korean soil pose a threat to Chinese security, if they intervene on Pyongyang’s behalf, it’s an act of war against the United States of America.

And if this war escalates into a nuclear exchange, so be it—may the survivors be American.
