In New York they have.. high taxes, high living expenses, high cost of food, no land left, rude people, crime, waste, hate for the rich, criminals only gun laws, and Mexican food is outlawed. I have no inclination to ever visit New York. Texas has more in one square mile than New York has in it’s entirety.

But one thing that they don’t have in New York, and that balances all the bad things they have, is that they don’t have you.

NO, we also have viable economy, actual law enforcement, and the right to defend our property.

That is rude and inconsiderate, but being from New York, you must breed for it.

I’ve been to Texas. What they also have is galloping hatred, and religous nuttery everywhere

I’m not from Texas and I don’t live here bu this seems like a typical East Coast Liberal’s view of anything that isn’t New York.

We are all told to celebrate diversity when it’s Latino Culture, or African American Culture, or any other culture that comes from a group that is feeling oppressed. But apparently it’s fine to make fun of any White American culture that doesn’t embrace Socialism and Anti-Christian values.

Not all of Texas is Mexican Restaurants and Guns, and not all of Appalachia is Honey Boo Boo, and Not all of the Midwest is Gay-hating bigots. There are honest, decent people all over the country who don’t want to give up there guns and, more importantly, don’t want to give up their rights so that liberals can feel safer when they walk their $2000 pet to the Starbucks.

You gotta admit, out in the Western part of the State, out past Midland and Odessa, heading towards El Paso, they DO have Miles and Miles of Miles and Miles, plenty of room for ALL the gun nuts to move. Lots of places to bury the bodies, don’t you know…
Also, Texas has a LOT of Horses, and even more Horse’s
    asses!

What a fool. Never been to New York have you? Go to upstate NY and you will find plenty of land. As for Texas, look at the idiot who is currently governor… Nuff Said

You forgot to add that Texas has the lowest cost of living in the U.S. and the best job market. Texas and Florida have been gaining in population (mainly from California and the Northeast) faster than any other states and Jeff is welcome to visit (just not stay).

I think the cartoonist is poking fun at the few Texans who think that their state is better than New York because of a few focused issues like gun ownership. I think that most sensible people around the country keep their opinions to themselves as they work to put bread on the table. Certain home-schooled wingers not withstanding.

It is no more rude and inconsiderate than Ima’s frothings.

More than anything, we have intolerance for bigoted, stupid, uninformed fear-filled people. You’d best stay away.

    @HOWGOZIT

Howie, for once I will agree with you. I was born in Newburgh, and have driven extensively
through the state. The Thruway passes through some very beautiful country, I had an Aunt and Uncle who lived right on the Great Sacandaga Lake, and I have been through the Albany, and Saratoga Springs area quite a few times in a Semi.
The Southern Tier is quite scenic, as well.

I spent my foreign tour of duty in texas and I would never go back to that backwards state of ignoramuses like you even if offered a billion dollars. Here in California we have a budget surplus, unlike your sorry state with the most ignorant governor of all.
