Are they kidding me? I go ballistic if I can’t find the remote.
The tv remote will be the ruination of mankind. We’ve lost the incentive to move.

We lost the remote for several days and it about killed my wife. Couldn’t watch her soaps.

Those lazy bums! Can’t even pick up a remote. Every time I lose the remote, I act like a man and get it for myself.

Repeat, I remember this one.

I looked at my TV and sound system and cable box almost all of the controls are hidden so I am in a mess if I lose any remote. God help us!!

The remote today is as important as coal was two centuries ago. How else are you going to mute those pesky irritating commercials?

Growing up in the 50’s and 60’s I was my parents remote. I was seldom lost but often absent.

The day will come when we won’t even be able to turn off the TV without the clicker. ;)

remember when we had to get up and change the channel

@Gator007
Maybe my flat screen tv is old (5 years) but, under the screen there is a little door that covers the manual controls. I found it when the batteries on the remote when out.

@23035387
Yes. I made a whole production about it when I told my granddaughter about them. Including getting up and walking back and forth across the room to change the channel. She thought I was hilarious!! lol

I remember those days, too. Can you imagine the size of that knob now with hundreds of channels? You’d have to take a chair with you, too. This may take a while.
