    If the kicker is supposed to get out of the way, they would have stuck with Brody. Isn’t that the whole point of having someone else kick off?

    I sense a storyline addressing the issue of concussions in football. Kaz will give it the old school “just a stinger get back in there” attitude but Gil will show concern for the long term effects.

    What does Mimi usually do during football season anyway? Are there any female sports going on this time of year? I guess she keeps the pool boy around after Labor Day to rake leaves and lay pipe?

    There’s female (and male) cross country during football season. I’m sure there are other female sports played during this time of the year (field hockey maybe).

    Didn’t she used to coach volleyball?? I’m talking 20+ years here so with the new writers, maybe that’s been moved to “Lost Island,” as well.

    Girls volleyball is usually played in the fall in the NCAA and many high schools.

    I’m sure Neal & Rod were attempting to illustrate the yards lines in there as a reference. You are correct, Mimi used to coach Volleyball 30 years ago when she had a pixie haircut.
