    Next,he’ll be playing defense. Not enough experience to play free safety. I would guess either corner or as a smallish outside linebacker.

    I gues Gil’s never seen Gaelic rules football; they used to have it on ESPN late night in the old days before they figured out they could make more money with poker games. Let me tell you, American football is sissy stuff by comparison. The way I figure it, show me a 40-year-old Gaelic football player, and I’m looking at a headstone.

    I’m repeating myself (nothing new there), but again, why is Gil telling him to boot it and get out of the way? Why not have Brody kick off if that’s going to be the strategy? It would make a lot more sense if Gil had told him, “Boot it and try to back up your teammates in case you have to make a last-ditch tackle.”
