They need one of those charity concerts with superstar groups, Band Aide for Obamacare.
    .
America needs to get real and join the rest of the civiliized world in providing for those in need. Do we really want to support companies more interested in getting rich off of sick people instead of healing them? This is the richest country in the world, can we afford to be totally selfish all the time?

The problem: the US currently spends more than it takes in, hence the horrific borrowing we’re doing. We’re effectively bankrupt and living on credit cards until they’re cut off.

The liberal utopia of free healthcare cannot be achieved without bringing in (lots) more revenue or drastically cutting spending- two things the Democrat party is currently unable to do.

At this time, all a Socialist healthcare scheme will do is destroy what’s left of the middle class, leaving us all begging for scraps from the beloved nanny state.

Only problem is the bandaids are of the non-stick variety so they cover nothing, do nothing, and won’t stay in place unless lots of pressure is applied.

How about we do something about the conservative utopia of wildly out-of-control military spending as well?
How much money have we wasted on that Joint Strike Fighter that we still can’t use? How many children would that have fed, I wonder?

Since 0bama was lying when he said you could keep your health insurance, how can insurance companies be certain he is not lying when he says he will not prosecute for continuing to sell non-compliant policies.

What is needed is not band-aid, it is a couple of good Army Pressure Dressings.

Well I kind of agree with the first line but we are not the richest country on earth when your debt is higher then your GDP. What part of the civilized world, Spain’s broke, Italy with their bizarre justice system. France, has riots every couple of years because of Islamic extremism.

The Republicans fighting health care reform while tens of thousands die and go bankrupt is the biggest domestic crime against humanity in the nation’s history.

The “fix” was single payer, with private doctors and suppliers, regulation of outrageous profits, like the 80/20 for care/profits does, and making Medicare negotiate drug prices, instead of prohibiting negotiation. Yes, demographics DOES say that Medicare does need “adjustment”, and with a single payer “medicare for all”, adjustments of premiums to match that same demographic reality makes sense. Yes, universal care would make everyone participating pay “taxes” called premiums.

BUT: remember when back under Bush, you could go out and buy a huge SUV for “business”, even though it was mostly used for a single person to commute, or a soccer mom to take a couple kids to school, and get a tax break to buy it for you?

It shouldn’t be “free ride” time, but health care is a heck of a lot more important, and cost-saving in the long run, than getting “Uncle” to buy you an SUV.

If you haven’t figured it out now, even more are going to go bankrupt.
