Only problem is the bandaids are of the non-stick variety so they cover nothing, do nothing, and won’t stay in place unless lots of pressure is applied.

The Republicans fighting health care reform while tens of thousands die and go bankrupt is the biggest domestic crime against humanity in the nation’s history.

^The wording is different. Repetition is necessary to counter the level of Conservative intellect.

The “fix” was single payer, with private doctors and suppliers, regulation of outrageous profits, like the 80/20 for care/profits does, and making Medicare negotiate drug prices, instead of prohibiting negotiation. Yes, demographics DOES say that Medicare does need “adjustment”, and with a single payer “medicare for all”, adjustments of premiums to match that same demographic reality makes sense. Yes, universal care would make everyone participating pay “taxes” called premiums.

BUT: remember when back under Bush, you could go out and buy a huge SUV for “business”, even though it was mostly used for a single person to commute, or a soccer mom to take a couple kids to school, and get a tax break to buy it for you?

It shouldn’t be “free ride” time, but health care is a heck of a lot more important, and cost-saving in the long run, than getting “Uncle” to buy you an SUV.

Still better than the GOP plan… oh, right, they don’t have one.
