Big news, Gary: the deficit has been shrinking ever since Obama took office (google Budget Deficit as a percent of GNP), just as the stock market has been going up. Further news, Gary: squeezing the 20-30% insurance overcharge out of healthcare, ain’t gonna drive it back up.

Sorry if that undercuts your happy little cartoon life.

You sure know how to spread the lie! The DOW is ONLY as high as it is because the FED keeps borrowing money to keep it artificially high. It can’t last forever, and when it’s done, well, get ready for a slide like you’ve never seen before.

“I fail to see how a law mandating purchasing healthcare (and businesses opting out legally) will give everyone free healthcare.”

That’s because it doesn’t. The only people saying that the health care will be free are the people who want to prove that “free” health care is not free. Most of us understand that health care is not, was not, and has never been intended to be free.

For the thousandth time: if you think that legislators read any legislation before they pass it, you are mistaken. Most legislation nowadays is prepared by people who will profit, handed to the legislator they own, who drops it into the hopper unread. The only difference in this case is that Nancy Pelosi said out loud what everyone on Capitol Hill already knows.

The epitome of Federal Government waste and fraud: the US Congress.

Did it come with a picture on the box, or did you have to buy it first before you see what it would look like and what would actually be in the box?

Reading the postings of the right make it quite obvious they do not understand.

Whether an irony or not… the right says the same about the left.
The question is, which is true and who has the evidence. I present mainstream media,, huffington post, NY Time, LA Times, and most all the main news prints, actors, directors, musicians, The View, most popular mags that might actually speak to politics at some point, etc. OH, and Harleyquinn and some other comment writers here too, LOL.
the burden of proof is now on you Radish.
Btw…you may want to look up what it means to demonize something real quickly first, since you clearly misused it.
As an example, if some disagrees or presents and opinion or idea and the opposition levies personal attacks, like racist, bigot, hater, intolerant, etc., attacking the individual rather than actually dealing with what was said in order to simply discount the individual or anything that individual might represent or say… that is demonizing. This cartoon is making light of reality.

I’ll see your bid, and raise you one: no one in Congress is exempt from laws passed by Congress.

If people in Congress had to go on the open market to buy health insurance, things would change in a big, big hurry.

How about this, it is a health care program that is supposed to give insurance to over 30 million more people but everyone wants a waiver for not giving enough care. Paid for by a tax;(as stated by the Supreme Court) Despite the tax, it will require at least 8% of your total take home pay on top of the same tax. All this cost is on top Medicaid and Medicare that also will have to be paid for separately.

Some of those who do not want Obama Care are Unions, the United States Congress and employees of the United States Congress and White House. While hundreds of thousands will lose insurance due to small business cannot afford the Affordable Care Act.

You may not like the right’s opinion of the Obama Care but we do understand the outcome.
