I’m no fan of the Muslim Brotherhood, but this far deeper. Aside from it being the Muslim Brotherhood that was attacked, not the attacker, the problem is the military. And they have had a hold on power since before Mubarak. The president can do what the military says, and survive, or try to go his own way and be ousted. From what I can see, doesn’t really look like it matters who occupies the presidency.

Or… he could be trying to stop the slaughter of people. 525 killed in a single day by your own military, regardless of political affiliation, is a tragedy.

Why is he crying? Egyptians have been killing each other for thousands of years.

Too bad——the first “democraticly elected” president threw out the secular constitution and decided on his own to install a “islamic constitution” complete with sharia law. Thank God for the Egyption military!

As opposed to the Morsi’s rule when more than that were being killed by the MB, funny how you didn’t mind that one bit.

I’m not saying I didn’t mind it. I’m saying that I may dislike Obama as much as the next conservative, we should at least try to be as impartial as possible. Otherwise it comes across as a bash fest.

What’s wrong with staying with elections over military rule? You like the present situation? Did you like the dictator Mubarak?

For a long time the Brits killed Egyptians. And Romans etc. You could say the same thing about the USA only our military hasn’t started outwardly killing us—yet.

There are many Liberals and Populists who see Obama as just another oligarch in office.

Egypt has been conquered by foreigners since the Assyrians…down through the Greeks and then the Romans.
In the days of Jesus….about 30 A.D. Christianity was adopted by many Egyptians. By 642 A.D. the Arabs conquered Egypt and forced Islam on the population.
The current military are trying to prevent the Muslim Brotherhood from transforming a Republic into a restored Ottoman Caliphate! Most Egyptians do not want Sha’ria Law and to be “cleansed” of all other faiths in God. Today under cover of the pro-Morsi riots, a systematic destruction of Coptic, Catholic and Protestant churches and people is going on. Every vestige, including Christian bookstores, are being burned and destroyed. Morsi is an all-out Jihadist of the most radical type. Israel will be #1 target if Morsi regains power…..the entire Mideast is threatened and not all Arabs want a strict Islamic Caliphate……Syria and the Saudis and all others are targets for takeovers by a fundamentalist religious intolerant dictatorship.

Better a dictator like Mubarak than an islamist terrorist sympathizer like Morsi.
Here too? If not then why in Egypt but not here? The USA is more dangerous as a representative of a “Christian Nation” and have killed and terrorized multitudes more than all the Muslim terrorists combined.

Really? A weeper? Early tee time or something? Can we get a “Pearly Gates” cartoon featuring the dead protesters?

Thank You for mentioning how Egypt’s President was more a shill for The Islamic Brotherhood.
