The scariest thing this Halloween is the possibility that Mr. Obama might get re-elected. If you look at the results of his policies alone, you would think that his goal was to strip wealth from Americans and force them to be dependent on government handouts. Unemployment way up. Social Security disability enrollment way up. Major increase in food stamp recipients. Price of goods and services skyrocketing, especially fuel and food costs which hit lower income families the hardest. And half of Americans want four more years of this?

^ Yeah, it’s great, isn’t it? Reagan’s distribution of wealth upwards to the investor class succeeded beyond our wildest dreams.

Maybe they should be at the Walton’s house looking for new duds from those One percenters? (which, one family of six people who have more personal wealth than 160+million Americans, combined!!)

But the rich keep getting richer and need those tax cuts to do it.

Doesn’t matter whose fault it is. The children are hungry, winter is coming and they need good clothes. Do we help them, or do we ignore them since its not governments place to help them? We can’t fix yesterday, but it’s 9am on a Tuesday. What can we do today for those kids? My wife is going to be working at a soup kitchen with her church Wednesday. They’re collecting coats and clothes to give there. Some of the people helping her that night have no health care but severe medical problems. Some are unemployed or underemployed. Where is the trickle down? Where are the rich who could make a difference in a child’s life? Donating to their candidates of choice?
sadly,

Anyone who doesn’t believe that previous circumstances can survive into the present hasn’t been paying attention.
I find it amusing that many of the same people who still blame the Supreme Court for declaring abortion to be legal (1973) won’t acknowledge that Reagan’s tax policies shifted the majority of the tax burden from corporations and investors to taxpayers (1980-1988). Do you people think that everything went back to the way it was after he left office?
