The sad fact of the matter is that the average teacher springs for about a thousand bucks a year for stuff the kids or classroom needs but that the school district can’t afford. In return for which, they get reviled as “greedy” and savaged as “overpaid”.

He’s a songwriter. He got the janitor job when he was still struggling to get by, but then discovered that he loved the work.

A fresh, sweet smelling new pencil with a clean sharp edged eraser! The possibilities abound!

For those wondering about Frazz’s music career, it’s first mentioned in the second strip in this series. If you want to see it, click here.
(Whole Enchilada Love… that needs to go in my Zeppelin toons collection.)

Apparently you never heard of the Folk movement in America. Songs like “If I Had a Hammer” or “Where Have All the Flowers Gone” songs that were very big in the sixties. There are other examples all throughout my life but there’s no sense in trying to educate someone who speaks in political terms with no idea of what they are talking about as you have shown yourself to be over and over.
