    No, they were always there, you just didn’t notice them.

    I wondered why he was “trying to fly” in panel 3!

    Good flapping, Bad aerodynamics.

    He “Stuck the Landing,” though!

    He brought a pretty impressive puddle with him – hard to believe he didn’t see one big enough to get him THAT wet!

    Oh, well, youth is oblivious, and the rest of us are pretending to be…

    All right! This is good. Three days in a row we’ve seen young students using their brains, showing imagination, figuring out the world around them.

    I’m sure it’s just me, but I find this so much more pleasant than witnessing the antics of little kids who already have mastered every single bit of the world’s knowledge, and who open their mouths only to prove that fact.

    Thanks, Mr. Mallett!

    @bigpuma

    Now you sound like a sour puss. “…the antics of…kids who already have mastered every single bit of the world’s knowledge, and who open their mouths to prove it….”

    I heard that similar bit from my mother when she was alive. A strange reaction but I have analyzed it and come to a conclusion that it is the ego that is involved by the one who moans about it and want such people to shut up.

    Well, you’re right; it does make me sour, and I do have an ego. But I’d bet that I’m part of a large majority who prefer not to listen to that stuff. And, c’mon, you get the distinction I making, right? I prefer watching kids learn to watching them show off.
