And here I was, thinking it was something much, much worse. Like a paper cut on an ingrown toe nail.

Their luck, it’ll be the only disease the mutation doesn’t cure.

Hopefully the mutation is intervention enough.

if I remember correctly, few reptiles actually suffer from cancer. And Sarah does seem to have gotten a reptilian form…. just an interesting thought

With all the Amesworth radiation around I’m sure more TSers have cancer.

Our esteemed artist, author, storyteller extraordinaire is celebrating his birthday today. He may not want the extra attention, but I feel we ought to wish him a specially Happy
Birthday, with many wishes for more and better to come. May the next years bring good health, great wealth and happiness fitting to one so talented. To Him who brings such a range of emotion to those of us here with each day’s offering, I wish continued and ever increasing success in the coming years, HAPPY BIRTHDAY AARON!

In response to the discussion, I would guess that through experimentation on mutant captives, the topsiders would know whether or not mutation cures cancer. These two seem savvy enough that they’d know for sure before making such a huge descision.

Felicitations upon the anniversary of the day you first drew breath, most beloved story-weaver. May many more follow.

I was betting on it being cancer as well. Probably inoperable, not the least because you’d need to remove those suits in order to perform the operation, meaning you’d need a mutation-proof clean room.

Aaron – here’s hoping this birthday ranks among the best you’ll ever have. Knowing your day is filled with friends, fun, and love.

I feel that if it was really cancer or another terminal disease, the suit would have detected it, and the Topsiders would have dealt with the genetic defect the way they are known to do… I suppose Sarah and Jim could have escaped before the other Topsiders got to her, but I doubt it… that being said, I don’t think they’re spies, either…

(Also, a very happy birthday to one heck of an author!)

In Honor of Aaron Neathery’s birthday, I request everyone who can, without harming themselves, head over to the Endtown Auction and and Donation Portal. Bid on auctions if you can, as much as you can. Look through previous months to choose a print or some prints you would like to purchase, especially with that great savings on shipping.

Write to aaronneathery@gmail.com personally to arrange for your print purchase, and/or to purchase Endtown books 3 & 4, and arrange the details.

Allow me to call your attention to the donate button at the auction site. Might I remind you, we are in the Lenten season, a time of sacrifice. This season conveniently falls before summer, so we can give up fattening treats and send half the money to Aaron. You do not have to be Catholic to benefit from sacrificing, as it builds psychological and spiritual strength, and reminds us:

You can’t always get what you want,

You can remember those who can’t have a triple chocolate mocha latte, with raspberry syrup and whipped cream whenever they want one, and realise we are not just one universal family, but we are all simply one.

Seeing that you will be saving money during this time of year, why not spend some of it to keep providing Endtown, and Holly and Wally with the resources they need to not just survive, but to flourish. It is difficult to send a SixBucks coffee to starving children in Kenya, but with our help, someday Aaron Neathery’s talent can be sent to the most deprived regions.

And Please Vote, all weekend long. For Endtown and Doc Rat at TopWebComics
