    Even Death’s not a brow-beater:
    His are still black!
    But this event’s sure neater:
    Flask has come back

    How different she must feel
    It wiped out the shocks
    Of clutching a ghost (real!)
    With snow-colored locks

A reversal of what marxism usually accomplished.

Maybe they both seem to be fading…depending on point of view. She is leaving Marx’s plane, and he cannot follow. From Marx’s POV Flask is fading. to Flask, it seems that Marx is fading.

Or not. Just have to see.

Okay, gang.. Two more items on the auction block this week.. The original art for Flask’s mutant-making rampage.. and another request: a color drawing of Flask and Marx tonsil boxing.. Thanks to all who participate in these auctions.. The proceeds really do help keep Endtown alive.

I had hoped that a redeemed Flask would return to Endtown and this is a graceful way for the omnipotent Marx to move on. Always thought he was a little too easy a solution.

One wonders how Mallard overcame the problems of 500+ degrees and 20,000+ PSI pressure at the mile depth the city exists in. Reinforced concrete (7% silica fume reaches strengths of 40,000 psi or so) could deal with the pressure, but waste heat would be a major problem.

Marx is acting like a one-shot battery recharger. Put him in the sun for 5 hours and he should be fine.

“but waste heat would be a major problem.”

Carnot engines. Just keep the heat on the side marked “Hot, Do Not Touch”.
