Once upon a time there was a duplex where a young bachelor named Eno and his dog, Fang, shared an ultra-macho haven of beer snacks and male-bonding. Suddenly, their lives turned co-ed when Gina and her poodle, Mitzi, moved into the other half of their building... the question is, who will come out on top in Glenn McCoy's The Duplex?

@Proginoskes
Naw, natural selection is real, it just doesn’t have the magical powers evolutionists attribute to it.

He’s yukky, but not actively evil. If he was actively evil, he’d get more dates than he knew what to do with.

Having a masters in the subject and having worked with endangered, threatened, and sensitive species in northern California, I can tell you natural selection is garbage.
.
It’s “survival of the luckiest.”
.
“Fittest” (an idea that Jack London came up with, not Darwin) is usually a human predjudice.
.
For example, when “super trees” were developed to try to give sugar pines resistance to the white pine blister rust on the Happy Camp District, a super strain of rust appeared and wiped out the super trees.
.
The “fittest” squirrel as we think it would be the first one up in the morning. Full of energy and pep. And the first to get eaten by the morning hunger of a predator like a red-tailed hawk. A squirrel with a damaged leg might get up later, having to rest, and is actually safer because of that.
.
When the “fittest” males animals duke it out in a herd, the “less fit” males mate with the herd. In a sense, it’s survival of the dumbest that way. When I was in college, the alpha male idea of being the only one to mate with females took a whack— the “less fit” males were making it with the herd regularly. The stupid alpha males were fighthing it out when the herds were in estrus.
.
Only in the human world do you have alpha males making it with most of the female population. And mainly in GenX. At least in the natural world, the females don’t pick the males on the basis of how “bad” they are as individuals

Yes, Eno. Women naturally select the man who elicits some sort of baaad to the bone vibe. You might try a tattoo.
