The Democrats in Oregon are deliberately not putting their party on the materials they have put out in recent months. Nor in campaign commercials.
    .
That kind of hiding doesn’t help much: people figure that if there is no party mentioned, it’s a Democrat.
    .
After wiping out the economy to the point of Oregon losing population for the first time in 50 years, I think I’d lay low, too. That or simply admit I had been wrong and take a new course, instead of the usual adamantine adherence to Plank 2 of the Communist Manifesto that wrecked the state in the first place.

Nixon once supposedly offered some candidate to endorse him, or his opponent, whichever he preferred.

Would you want Eno blabbing that about your candidate?

I wouldn’t want anyone to know that I’ve got Eno’s support.

We have a 2 party system in which each claims that the other is unfit to lead. Unfortunately they are both right.

Thats like the Main stream news nerds reporting tha t a congrssman was arrested for something and not putting (D) by their name. They sure put the® if its not a dem.The Democrat local and state candidates aren’t putting (D) by their name on the campaign adds or the constant load of crud that comes in the mail in Texas either.

I’ve noticed that most of the local & state candidates don’t put party affiliation in thier ads, regardless of party. I suppose it makes sense to distance ones self from those hated politicians at the federal level.
