Once upon a time there was a duplex where a young bachelor named Eno and his dog, Fang, shared an ultra-macho haven of beer snacks and male-bonding. Suddenly, their lives turned co-ed when Gina and her poodle, Mitzi, moved into the other half of their building... the question is, who will come out on top in Glenn McCoy's The Duplex?

They still have Fang’s vote – no problem!

I’ll be glad when all the election ads are over.

The phone calls I really dislike are the ones with no sound at all— i’d guess it’s an autodialer dialing random numbers. Despite the nocall list, we get a lot of “blank” calls like that where there literally is nothing when you pick up the phone.

The way to influence the election your way is to call at dinnertime and claim to be for the opponent’s campaign.

Or call at bedtime.

Our favorite answer is: we will vote for the candidate who calls us the least.

I have an answering machine – when the message comes on, they usually hang up. Works for me.

@James Lindley
I wonder if they ever do that. If I were undecided, I’d use the amount of robocalls to determine which candidate I WOULDN’T vote for!

@Nabuquduriuzhur
That’s another reason I don’t vote… no voter record means no political party calling me for solicitations. ;-)

let it ring dude, let it ring.
I will not answer my phone at home for the next month.
If it’s someone I know then I’ll pick up. (caller ID)

Caller ID is one of the greatest innovations of modern times.

There are people who actually think not voting is smart…they are stupid because someone is going to be elected who is goin to screw with their idea of life …bigtime!

If you don’t vote, don’t whine about the outcome of the election.
