STOP THE LEFT SIDE SLIDING ADS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Trying to mellow and read a few cartoons has gotten to be an ordeal!!!! It’s like trying to read a paper while someone jerks it around continually and just past annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am looking for another place to get cartoons and don’t suggest Yahoo, I came here from there!
[I did refrain from the profanity I utter every time the stuff jerks around too…. it makes me furious]

I never will. They’re trying to force you into paying to enjoy the comics. Hate it when companies do that to make a buck.

I remember going off to law school, armed with some yellow legal pads, exactly 60 years ago. Still have some, they’ve yellowed even more with age.
For the youngsters: Yellow legal pads were what i-Pads are now.

How do you think Gocomics can give you free comics? They have to pay people to do it. Someone has to pay Gocomics so they can afford it. If you won’t pay, then the advertisers do. If you don’t want to see the advertisers, then pay the people for their work. Don’t be a moocher.

GoComics periodically gives complimentary “Pro” status. I’ve got it right now. But even before that, Adblock was taking care of that problem.

Haven’t been here in awhile – still reruns. As far as I’m concerned he’s retired now and just won’t say it.

Adblock, helped, but didn’t entirely eliminate ads. I don’t mind them being off to the side – you can choose to read them or not. Its when they jump right into what you’re trying to read that they become offensive, especially if its repetitive. No means no – one click should do it. To some degree, reading Go Comics is like playing a video game. If I see a third tab at the top, click it away before it gets you.

I’m with you! Somehow, it seems morally wrong to be forced – by GoComics – to purchase AdBlock just to be able to view the comics!
    .
Even the “free” version. It’s just not right!
    .
For one, advertising is how GoComics makes its money; for that reason alone, we ought not to block the ads.
    .
But on the other hand, GoComics owes us an experience that doesn’t require pulling our hair out each time we visit a new page!
    .
If GoComics really cares about its ADVERTISERS, let alone us, they NEED to do something about these page sliding ads!
    .
Else, everyone will get AdBlock – or – we will all just go away.
    .
Either way, no one is going to read GoComics’ ads, and GoComics will itself just go away.
    .
Almost like our local radio stations, that play a song after every dozen or so commercials.
    .
    What gave birth to Pandora…
