I’ve seen that some of those sororities have their own version of sexual harassment for joining.

It is unconscionable for our military to allow this to happen.

There are a far, far smaller number of suicides in the military every year, but THOSE are treated as deadly serious, and there are massive programs under way to nip them in the bud. Of course, suicide victims are mainly men, and we all know that they’re SO much more important than women.

Good Grief, just what did you expect, with all of that macho image and testosterone running free?

BD has grown and matured but he is still a hawk. His devotion to his fellow vets makes him truly admirable whether you agree with his politics or not.
By the way, Melissa went from being a blonde to a redhead. This was the start of GT’s fascination with carrot tops, as Becca and Skye would come to the strip later.

What do I expect? I expect all men to not behave like predatory criminals. I expect the army to stop accepting it, as you appear to do, as “just too much testosterone”. I expect society to stop glamorizing and worshipping a “warrior class”, too many members of which appear to believe that the law and societal norms don’t apply to them.

“All men” don’t behave like predatory criminals, but some do. I guess you’re one of those that likes to tar a whole group for the actions of a few.

You have misread my use of the words “all men”. I meant that regardless of the situation or circumstances it is never OK to use the excuse of “I’m just a man full of testosterone” to justify abuse.

Obviously, a lot of you have no idea what rape is about. It is NOT about, “I gotta have sex with whoever is available.”
It IS about “I feel so weak and insecure that I have to demonstrate power over someone I perceive to be weaker.” And anger is frequently a component.
Those of you who dismiss it as mere horniness are woefully ignorant.

Incidentally, it turns out that when you chemically castrate a rapist, he rapes with inanimate objects. So much for the “Just keep them from getting aroused solution.”
