"Garry Trudeau is the premier American social and political satirist of his time." -Newsweek Doonesbury has managed to be articulate, abrasive, political, compassionate, misunderstood, misprinted, and outrageous - but one thing it's never been is complacent. Garry Trudeau's creation has chronicled American history and culture in a parallel universe. And through it all, Doonesbury has always been honest, entertaining, and thought-provoking.

The Huffington Post that doesn’t pay its writers. There aught to be a law. Being forgettable has its drawbacks.

No one is earning the big bucks in that car – a blogger, a campaign manager, and a graduate student. Don’t have to worry about them ever joining the 1%.

Way over qualified? You’re just prejudiced Alex. Leo has many problems still to work out, and you should be happy somebody gave him the opportunity. You can’t start at the top unless your daddy owns the company.

When you read Rick’s blog on the Huffpost please follow the link to his website strugglingwriter.org. There you can find tee shirts, coffee mugs and refrigerator magnets and all the material that he was once paid for to write.

In Panel 3, Joanie and Alex appear to have switched noses temporarily.

@Gokie5
Yeah, I thought it was a rear perspective, too, but if you look again at the hairstyles, you can see it’s still from the front, just in silhouette.

Thank you for your very warm and human response. It’s nice to see someone comment on this without having an ax to grind.

Nope. Joanie in front seat, Rick leaning from behind … the rear view mirror is to Joanie’s right.
