   I’ll chip in, but I gotta say… that guy is kind of Steinbeckian. There’s already another Donate on his site for his mom’s house fire. I’m just hoping the coffin doesn’t get washed downstream in a sudden torrential rain.

    These rich spoiled know-nothing kids are REALLY full of beans.

    “I’m in love but I’m lazy…” the Beatles skewered guys like this a long time ago.

    All you have to do is circulate, get some names…check for possibles…go thru the names and meet and see who’s good and who needs some time and warm up…pick and choose.

    Warm some up slowly, some you can pick and eat, like ripe ready veggies or fruit…others need prep. Take a cooking course…and apply basics to prep. Bring to boil slowly, etc…

    Lazy dumbums who spend more time with the hypnomachines…you know, also called eye-candy electronics? don’t mate much. Male and female alike. Just another stumbling block on Love’s True Path.

    I find today’s strip to be a bit prophetic. I suspect, sadly, there are millions of idle, jobless, and dateless young men doing exactly what Jeff and Zipper are doing – wasting their lives, sitting around playing video-games and fantasizing. ’Unfortunately, this type of behavior, can sometimes spawn the sort of individuals responsible for the Aurora or Columbine shootings.

    Pretty big jump to your conclusion there, Linguist. Gazillions of young men waste their precious lives in front of video game screens without ever shooting anyone in the real world.

    The qualifying word was “sometimes”. And I confess that the original purpose of my comment was regarding the futility of such an existence, not the violence – which came as an after-thought, since yesterday’s tragedy was on my mind.
