    A sliver of light. Misery loves company, and the one thing Mel does not need is sympathy. At least she’s got a friend who can tell it like it is.

    The shorter woman with 5 dates looks like my older sister from my fathers first marriage. She seems to have her act together. However, she should be more sympathetic to Mel.

    Is this a rerun strip? I feel like I’ve read this conversation before.
    I feel awful for Mel. She’s having such a bad time of it. That superior officer who did this to her should be boiled in oil!

    Since this is a rerun it’s like history repeating itself, and some of these posts from the past week validate what Georges Santayana says about people who don’t learn from the past.
