Wonder what would happen when the power goes out at Facebook’s Prineville data center? At some point the Pacific Intertie will be interrupted by a major quake or forest fire. They’ve been predicting a 9 for many years. The last such quake was 1700 (the resulting tsunami was recorded in Japan), so we are supposedly late for another.
