Babies and puppies are both quite cute, but underneath the soft, cuddly exteriors lie the fearsome hearts of competitors. Well, not really. When a new baby joins the household, Sophie the dog is initially irritated, but eventually comes to see the baby, Doug, as the asset he is: a better way to get snacks. Though the baby is still hogging precious attention, and has a tendency to pull ears and be a general nuisance, a begrudging friendship forms between the two rivals. Watch the mischief unfold in Brian Anderson’s Dog Eat Doug.

GOOD! They are teaching him good kitten manners.

Again, had to swerve from the truth. Our cats, thank goodness, don’t scratch or throw psychotic fits when you’re holding them. Sophie is raising them to be well adjusted Labs.

Well, at least they’re not bothering him.

One of the kittens looks less green and more brown in today’s strip. Much better color.

Of course not, all the psychotic ones live at my house!

LOL! Good dod Sophie. All cats should become a well adjusted Lab. I know that my Mua must have been part Lab. He was more dog than cat, even to growling rather than hissing, and coming when called or following me around.
I sure miss him. Still.

I agree, but shouldn’t the Manx be brown and the Siamese (I’m guessing) be blue?
Just wondering.

The relationship between a baby and his/her kitty(s) is precious.

The biting part will go a lot better when Dougie gets teeth!

lol….. I am now imagining two kittens playing fetch and trying to bury bones. Though as good labs, they will insist on doing their business outside instead of the litter box.
