Babies and puppies are both quite cute, but underneath the soft, cuddly exteriors lie the fearsome hearts of competitors. Well, not really. When a new baby joins the household, Sophie the dog is initially irritated, but eventually comes to see the baby, Doug, as the asset he is: a better way to get snacks. Though the baby is still hogging precious attention, and has a tendency to pull ears and be a general nuisance, a begrudging friendship forms between the two rivals. Watch the mischief unfold in Brian Anderson’s Dog Eat Doug.

I echo that. What happened? I even tried enlarging it. I love to laugh at comics – but …

I just sent Brian Anderson an email asking him to get rid of the Sunday title panel which is what is causing the strip to display compressed and therefore nearly illegibly.
The magnify button helps, but there is no good reason we should have to do that every Sunday.

Priorities, margueritem. Ends in a “y” so you make it plural with “ies”. If you are on the comics commenting beat, you have to pay attention to spelling so your comments are taken seriously.

Pressing that little magnifying glass icon is taking up 1/20th of a second of my time per week and is vexing, you bet. He should rejig the entire web page so we do not lose this time which we could be using for an eye blink. Hear! hear! Thank goodness we’ve got you on the case.

I read these at 200% and still have to magnify.

IMO its not the t -panel. I mag button other strips of similar orginal size and they appear 2 to 3 times the size of D+D ’s ! So I believe it might be the scan size of d/d in to gocomics maybe ? ? ?

Every dang Sunday, I think “I shouldn’t have to click on my daily email to get to the website, just so I can get a legible version of Dog Eat Doug.” Well, this Sunday, even that didn’t help.
For cripes’ sake, WHY is GoComics unable or unwilling to post this comic in a higher resolution? Even the old, low-resolution Boondocks Sunday strips are more legible than Dog Eat Doug.

And it Sophie knew there were bacon and cheese strips in that fridge…. she wouldn’t need any help from any old robot!
.
as to size …. I hit the magnify and then increased my entire screen to 150%. I usually have my screen at 125%. Much easier for reading anything on any site……….
.
Working Daze had several Sunday panel problems….. I think it might be more gocomics than any thing to do with the strip.
