I empathize with Mr. Peter Otterloop. It’s a good thing he has Madeline to do the driving! I hope Miss Bliss didn’t laugh at him as he lay crumpled on the floor of Blisshaven—I’m sure some of the kids did; maybe even Alice!

Old schools have old heating systems. You get sleepy in old schools because of old furnace exhaust leaks.
