The next four years will be the same as the last four unless it gets worse by electing Romney.

vote for Mitt Romney will return our country to the failed economic policies of George W. Bush. Moreover, why should we vote for a presidential candidate who has made a pledge to Grover Norquist not to raise taxes if elected? I thought our president makes a pledge to protect, uphold and defend our Constitution instead of making a pledge to a wealthy lobbyist.

I’m a registered Independent but in this election it’s as clear as glass. If you’re a working person and think the Republicans will even slightly represent your best interests, then you better start learning the new Pledge:

NEW PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCEI pledge allegiance, to the logoOf the Corporate State of AmericaAnd to the Republicans, for which it standsOne multinational, under a CEOWith divided and conquered workersAnd liberty and justice for none(and government bailouts for all)Amen

If you vote against Obama for not getting things done it’s like saying “this guy can’t cure cancer, I’m voting for cancer”.

It’s the lobbyists (paid by the radical wealthy) that control policy, not their puppets.. the politicians, and certainly not “We the people”. — It doesn’t have to be that way, we can stand up for our rights.

As to which party tends to create jobs historically, this chart shows U.S. Dept of Labor statistics from Kennedy on (including the entire failed “trickle-down” voodoo experiment:

First prove that the GOP is indeed a devil. For the Dems we need no proof other than Obama and the Senate’s record. The GOP boasts completely new faces.

I’ll take the devil that does NOT deny women the right to choose, that does NOT deny men and women the privilege of marrying the man or woman they love, that does NOT spread gibberish about the result of forced rape that DOES believe in science such as evolution and global warming, etc., etc., etc. THAT’S the ‘devil’ I’ll choose.

@yAMMO: It’s like Bill Maher said, "how can you trust republicans when their version of history is that in 1988 (after Reagan) the entire country went to sleep and woke up 20 years later to find out that Obama and his army of “negros” ransacked the country while we were sleeping". I can’t remember exactly what he said, but it was words to this effect And people like you and IMa and all the other wingnuts have the same credibility. You have NO MEMORY!

A suggestion from a poster seen on the Internet:

“The next time someone tells you that Obama is destroying the economy, remind them that the stock market and coporate profits are at all-time highs.

When they tell you that this hasn’t helped them any, remind them that they’ve just admitted that Trickle-Down Economics doesn’t work."

The guy on the right should be holding a transvaginal probe, not a pitch fork. Once he’s got a government small enough to fit in a woman’s vagina, his next target will be men’s rectums.

It’s good to remember that Willard’s foreign policy advisors are the same advisors from the Bush administration. Yeah, the ones who spearheaded the Iraq invasion.-Willard proudly signed the pledge to protect and defend Grover Norquist.-Willard’s postion on Afghanistan is… well, just let the generals decide what to do. (props to Harley for making that clear)-There are SOME things we do know about the ChickenHawk we don’t know.

If so you would not be accusing President Obama of being a Socialist, of a Marxist, or any of the other infammatory names you seem so proud to throw about.

Not sure but me thinks you meant inflammatory, not infammatory.

Oh, the glass houses we live in…

^The toon makes too valid a statement, true, Bruce. But supporting and defending Mitt and Ryan, especially for “real Republicans” is a lot like Mrs. James supporting and defending Bob Ford.

Oh, Eryx, come on big fella, you know what happened, just as well as I do. Princess Pelosi ran the congress the last two years of the Bush administration. Bush didn’t have the “gonads” to stand up to her and allowed democratic policy to go through. Big mistake on Bush’s part, however it happened and that is history. History, you conveniently seem to forget. Look at the charts, unemployment did not go up until Pelosi took control.
